Growing these on a trellis is highly recommended as it keeps the fruit off the ground, making it easier to harvest and reducing incidence of diseases. To begin with, your plant may need a little help to cling to its support, so gently tie plants until they start producing tendrils. If you are getting flowers but not much fruit, you may not have many pollinators such as bees around. You can hand pollinate your flowers by removing the male flowers (the ones without mini fruit below) and rubbing it against a recently opened female (has mini fruit at their base). Plants like to be watered from the ground up and dislike wet leaves.
