Native to India and Sri Lanka this evergreen will need to be protected from frost and the cold. Best planted in a pot that can be relocated in the cooler months. and prune regularly to keep bushy.
The leaves are highly aromatic and can be used in many Indian recipes. The berries that will form however are toxic so don't consume. Leaves can be used immediately, kept in the fridge for a week or frozen.
