A spreading herb with distinctive V-shaped markings on the leaves and purple stems. To stop it from spreading we recommend growing in a pot. Harvest regularly to promote new growth and in late winter to earl spring after any chance of frost has passed, prune back by at least half of the plant height. A popular herb to use in Asian dishes although it can be an acquired taste.
