Jalapenos are spicy and delicious peppers that can make any spread, burger, or sauce mouth-wateringly tasty. Growing jalapenos yourself is a great way to always have access to this zesty spice. Each plant can produce as many as 25-30 jalapeno pods. Once the pods mature, they appear deep green in colour. However, if they’re left longer on the vine, the colour changes to purple and then red.
