We have a limited quantity of fresh, naturally grown ginger available from our farm in Tasmania, harvested and ready to enjoy. Unlike most ginger sold in Australia — which is grown on the mainland, irradiated, and transported long distances — our ginger is picked fresh, offering exceptional flavour, aroma, and quality you simply won’t find in store-bought varieties.
Originating in Southeast Asia, ginger has been valued for both its culinary and medicinal properties for more than 3,000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest and most treasured spices.
Renowned for its versatility, ginger brings warmth, spice, and depth to countless dishes. Alongside garlic and chives, it forms part of the “Holy Trinity” of Chinese cooking and is an essential ingredient throughout many Asian cuisines, including Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Indian cooking.
